Weekend Events

Hidden Battleship in Wilmington, NC – Saturday January 14th.  The 4 hour behind-the-scenes exploration of un-restored areas of the ship includes the brig, the fire control tower, and so much more! Martin Luther King Jr. Parade in Wilmington, NC – Monday January 16th.  Wilmington honors Dr. King’s memory with a commemorative parade on Castle Street, beginning at noon.  For more information call 910-352-2473.

Snow Day at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, SC 9:00am-3:00pm – Join the Children’s Museum of South Carolina for a Snow Day at the Beach.  Kids can play in an indoor snowball fight or go for a skate in the indoor hockey rink. 

Mascot & Girl Scout Day at Women’s Basketball vs. Liberty in Conway, SC on January 14th at 2:00pm – Come out and support the Chants as they take on the Flames!  Mascots will play a basketball game at halftime.  Free cookout compliments of Aramark for Coastal Carolina Students.  General public $5 admission ticket. Come and check out the other entertaining in-game activities and promotions.
